Universal Industrial Capacitive Level Transmitter | SLS605 Series

High-performance capacitive level transmitter designed for continuous level monitoring of industrial oils, viscous media, wastewater, and chemical solutions. Built with advanced Radio Frequency (RF) immunity and multi-layer microcomputer scanning, the SLS605 Series eliminates false readings caused by thermal drift, foam, condensation, or sticky media buildup on the probe. Available in compact, heavy-duty terminal head, and PTFE anti-corrosion configurations.

  • Temperature Range: Up to +150°C

  • Pressure Rating: Up to 2.5 MPa

  • Protection Class: IP68 / IP67

  • Signal Outputs: 4–20 mA (2-wire/4-wire), RS485 Modbus, CAN, 0–5V

  • Applications: Lubricating & hydraulic oils, industrial sewage, viscous fluids, tanks with agitators or condensation

Description

Heavy-Duty Level Measurement for Viscous, Corrosive & High-Temp Liquids

Standard level sensors often fail when exposed to sticky oils, crystallizing chemicals, or heavy condensation because media builds up on the sensor rod. The SLS605 Series Capacitive Universal Level Transmitter solves this with radio frequency capacitance measurement technology. By analyzing capacitance changes between the probe electrode and the tank wall through high-speed microcomputer scanning, it accurately isolates true liquid height from surface foam or probe coating.

Core Model Configurations

  • SLS6051 (Compact Stainless Steel): Compact 304 SS body designed for medium pressure tanks, hydraulic power units, oil sumps, and tight installation spaces.

  • SLS6052 (Heavy-Duty Terminal Head with Display Option): Features an industrial 2088 aluminum alloy junction box with optional digital OLED/LCD display. Ideal for outdoor process plants and local visual verification.

  • SLS6053 (Enhanced Viscous & Wastewater Probe): Heavy-duty IP68 submersible probe built for sewage tanks, underground sumps, crude oils, and media prone to heavy adhesion.

  • SLS6054 (PTFE Anti-Corrosion / Cable Probe): Fully PTFE-coated probe with fiber auxiliary electrode for strong acids, aggressive chemical raw liquids, and deeper tanks up to 15 meters.

FAQ

How does the SLS605 prevent false readings from viscous oil or sticky liquid coating?

The SLS605 uses radio frequency microcomputer technology to evaluate both the resistive and capacitive impedance components of the signal. This allows the sensor to ignore thin films or conductive layers adhering to the rod and measure only the true bulk liquid level.

What is the difference between the SFLS500 series and the SLS605 series?

  • SFLS500 Series: Purpose-built for automotive vehicle tanks, diesel fleets, and telematics (compact, cut-to-length, light-duty).

  • SLS605 Series: Heavy industrial level transmitter for process tanks, high temperatures (+150°C), viscous oils, sewage, and chemical vessels.
